Organ Concerts in the Saint Stephen’s Basilica of Budapest
The Cathedral Organ Concerts and the Friday Organ Concerts will be organized in the Saint Stephen’s Basilica of Budapest on Mondays and Fridays from March to December in 2012, the sound of the world-famous historic pipe organ of the Basilica will only be heard at these concerts!

The events of the Cathedral Organ Concerts will begin at 17 p.m. every Monday, with the exception of October when the concerts start at 19 p.m.
In addition to the organists of the Basilica the concerts feature singers and instrumental musicians who will present the organ works and most famous church arias of Albinoni, Caccini, Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Gounod, Bizet, Rachmaninoff, Cesar Franck and Ferenc Liszt.
Concerts start on Mondays at 5 o' clock in the afternoon and are 45 minutes long.

'2 Organs and 2 Organists in 1 Concert'
The Friday Organ Concerts offer complex musical experience. The artists of the concerts are Liszt Award winning and Junior Príma Award winning organists and recognized opera singers and instrumental musicians whose personal contribution is in itself the guarantee for the high level performance.
The concerts present the most popular works of the most well-known artists of the musical literature – Charpentier, Albinoni, Caccini, Bach, Purcell, Händel, Gounod, C. Franck, Ferenc Liszt and Ch. M. Widor – at the main Altar of the Basilica, and from the gallery on the world famous historic organ.
The organ concerts begin at 8 p.m. on Fridays from April till December, the programme lasts 70 minutes.
